Highlights of Day 2 at AISC 2025
-
The talk by Quoc Le, PhD, Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, was a highlight.
-
The session "Addressing AI Challenges with Engineered Substrates" presented by René Jonker stood out for its practical insights into AI challenges.
Notable Contributors
While there were no surprising new insights today, I deeply admired the impactful contributions of:
-
Christopher Nguyen (Aitomatic)
-
Loi Nguyen (Marvell)
Speaker Engagements
I was looking forward to engaging with Nguyễn Mạnh Hùng, PhD, Minister of Science & Technology, Viet Nam Government, but he's scheduled to speak tomorrow. Unfortunately, Quoc Le was occupied with other guests, so I didn't get the opportunity to connect directly.
Personal Reflections
Today's sessions didn't significantly change my perspectives on AI and semiconductor technologies, as these areas aren't directly aligned with my interests. Topics such as manufacturing, battery technologies, and medical applications were valuable but not directly relevant to my current work.
Networking Experience
Networking today was limited:
-
I connected with a few people but had no notable interactions.
Event Structure Feedback
-
Morning sessions moved smoothly.
-
Afternoon pacing felt slow and less engaging.
Future Interests
No immediate business opportunities arose today; however, the event has sparked my interest in exploring more AI-focused events and platforms/apps that leverage AI tools, something I'm excited to pursue further.
