Supercharging Data Pipelines with Airbyte: How We Use It in AstraVision
Supercharging Data Pipelines with Airbyte: How We Use It in AstraVision

In the age of data-driven decisions, gathering insights from multiple platforms is no longer a luxury, it’s a necessity. At Glinteco, we build systems that give business leaders a clear view of what’s working, what’s not, and where to go next. One of the tools powering this behind the scenes is Airbyte, an open-source data integration platform we’ve integrated into our project: AstraVision.

In this post, we’ll share how we’re using Airbyte to unify data from ads, messaging platforms, landing pages, and Google Analytics into a single source of truth.

What Is Airbyte?

Airbyte is an open-source ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tool designed to make syncing data between systems simple, modular, and scalable. With over 300+ connectors and growing, it supports integrations across databases, APIs, and cloud applications including the very tools businesses rely on every day.

Why we love it:

  • Open-source and self-hosted options

  • Custom connector development is straightforward

  • Active community and roadmap

  • Easy scheduling and monitoring

  • Compatible with major destinations (BigQuery, Postgres, Snowflake, etc.)

Real-World Use Case: AstraVision

AstraVision is our internal product built for CEOs and business owners to monitor company performance in real-time. It connects data across multiple tools and visualizes the full customer and revenue journey — from ad click to conversion.

The Challenge

Our goal was to collect and consolidate data from:

  • Advertisement platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, TikTok Ads)

  • Messaging platforms (e.g., Zalo, Messenger, Pancake.vn)

  • Landing pages (like LadiPage, WordPress pages)

  • Web analytics (Google Analytics 4)

Each source has a different structure, update cycle, and authentication method. Writing custom scripts for each one was inefficient and hard to maintain.

The Solution: Airbyte

We used Airbyte to:

  • Connect to each platform’s API

  • Schedule automatic syncs (hourly or daily)

  • Load raw data into a centralized PostgreSQL database

  • Transform data later via dbt or custom SQL to power dashboards

For example:

  • Google Ads → Airbyte → Postgres

  • Zalo Chat History via Webhook → Airbyte → Postgres

  • LadiPage Form Submissions → Airbyte Webhook Source → Postgres

  • GA4 events → Airbyte GA4 Connector → Postgres

Airbyte handles rate limits, schema changes, and error retries, so we can focus on what matters most - delivering insights.

Results

By centralizing data with Airbyte:

  • Marketing teams can track ROI across platforms

  • Sales managers can see which campaigns drive the most qualified leads

  • CEOs get a dashboard with real-time spend vs revenue performance

  • Our dev team spends 90% less time maintaining ETL code

What’s Next?

We’re currently working on integrating more destinations like Metabase, Redash, and Looker Studio for visualization. We also plan to build custom connectors for niche Vietnamese platforms like Pancake.vn and Haravan using Airbyte’s connector SDK.

Final Thoughts

If your company is struggling to glue data together from dozens of SaaS tools and APIs, Airbyte is worth a serious look. It helped us unlock visibility across the entire funnel for AstraVision and it can do the same for your business too.
