Attitude Over Ego: The Frontend Lead with 9 Years of Reliable Delivery
Pham Duc Hung is the Frontend Lead at Glinteco. He has more than 9 years of experience building the parts of software that people actually see and use, and he leads the team that turns designs into fast, reliable interfaces.
Before Glinteco, Hung was a Senior Frontend developer at Relyon Vietnam, the local center of a fast-growing Polish IT services group serving clients across Europe. Over the years he has built frontends across several domains, including eCommerce, EdTech, and HR software, which has given him a feel for how differently an interface needs to behave depending on the job it is doing.
Hung studied Information Systems at Hanoi University of Science and Technology, graduating in 2017.
He also has a clear and slightly unfashionable view on what makes a good engineer. For Hung, attitude matters more than raw skill. He would rather work with someone reliable, curious, and easy to count on, and he holds himself to that same standard. It is a quiet principle, but it is a real part of why clients find this team steady to work with.
Away from work, Hung plays chess and poker, two games that reward patience, reading a situation, and thinking a few moves ahead.
Hung writes on the Glinteco blog about frontend frameworks, the choices behind them, and what it takes to ship interfaces that hold up. A few pieces worth reading:
