Vu Quang Hoa is the founder and CEO of Glinteco. He has spent 16 years building software, much of it for international product teams across the US, Japan, and Australia, working remotely long before it became the norm.

Before Glinteco, Hoa was an engineer on several venture-backed products. At StoryTree in San Jose (the team behind the SimplePrints app, backed by 500 Startups), he helped build a consumer product that reached around US$1M in revenue in nine months. At Rapyuta Robotics in Tokyo, a leading cloud-robotics company, he worked on the systems coordinating fleets of warehouse robots. He also worked with Digital Surge, an Australian crypto exchange, and spent two years at DSTax building a tax system engineered to handle over a million requests a day.

That range, from consumer apps to robotics, fintech, and high-traffic infrastructure, shapes how he works today. He starts from the business problem, then builds the simplest system that solves it reliably and holds up as it grows.

His core expertise is AI automation, web development, and application architecture, mainly in Python and Django, with deep experience across eCommerce, real estate, hospitality, and education. He holds a Bachelor's in IT from the University of Engineering and Technology, VNU Hanoi, and a Master of IT from UNSW, Australia; where he ranked among the top 7 students in Computer Science and Engineering in 2012.

For Hoa, it comes down to one thing: creating real value and being responsible, to his clients, his team, and society, in a way his family can be proud of. He believes “a boy only becomes a man when he understands responsibility”, and he runs Glinteco by that same principle. It is also why he thinks in long-term partnerships, not one-off projects.

Outside work, he reads widely, keeps active with sports, breeds fish, dogs, and cats, and takes his coffee and tea seriously.
