Reflecting on the Last Day at Work Before Tet: Plans for a Bright Future

As the Tet holiday approaches, there’s a unique quietness, a relaxing moment in the air. While the Glinteco team is working remotely from various locations, I find myself at home, not just wrapping up work but also taking a moment to reflect on the past year and plan for the one ahead. Thinking about our team members - my brothers who have been with me in this company.

The past year has been filled with challenges, growth, and achievements, but now it’s time to set goals for the future. Here’s what I’m envisioning for the coming year:

Expanding Into New Markets

  1. Japan Market

    • With Dat’s passion for Japan and his desire to explore opportunities beyond technical development, it’s the perfect time for us to target Japanese companies.

    • Japan values precision, reliability, and long-term partnerships.

    • The plan is to craft tailored content, highlight our expertise in IT outsourcing, and offer technical consultation with a cultural understanding of Japan.

  2. Australia Market

    • Australia has been a key focus for us, and the demand for IT services, particularly in web development and custom integrations, is growing.

    • We’ll enhance our Google Ads campaigns and leverage local SEO to attract more SMEs needing our expertise in Django, ReactJS, and 3rd party integrations.

  3. Europe Market

    • Europe presents a wide array of opportunities, from automation to advanced AI solutions.

    • By focusing on case studies and showcasing our success stories, we can build trust and position ourselves as a reliable partner for businesses in Europe.

Seems like I am too greedy, yes, I am. I would like to explore all opportunities even if there is a small chance to win it. As if you don't try, you will never know.

Attracting More Customers

To grow sustainably, we need to reach more clients who value our expertise. Here’s how we plan to do it:

  • Targeted Content Marketing: Blogs, case studies, and white papers that showcase how we solve real-world problems for businesses in Japan, Australia, and Europe.

  • Referral Programs: Encouraging satisfied clients to recommend us to others by offering incentives for successful referrals.

  • Networking and Events: Attending global IT events and conferences to connect with potential customers and industry leaders.

This is exactly what I am currently doing, however, I need a proper plan with a consistent result.

Strengthening Our Team

As Glinteco grows, it’s clear we need additional talent to meet our goals.

  • Hiring a Marketing Specialist: We need someone who can sharpen our branding, execute marketing strategies, and create content tailored to each market.

  • Hiring a Sales Professional: A dedicated sales expert can help us build relationships with potential clients, close deals, and maintain customer satisfaction.

  • Encourage Dat to contribute more in the Japan Market: Dat’s love for Japanese culture and language makes him the ideal person to explore this market. By supporting his growth in areas beyond technical development, we can open new doors for Glinteco.

Treating Our Team Better

One of my top priorities this year is improving how we support and value our team:

  • Better Work-Life Balance: It’s not just about work, it’s about creating a culture where everyone can enjoy more free time and focus on what matters most in life.

  • Opportunities for Growth: Whether it’s through training programs or more challenging projects, I want every team member to feel like they’re growing with the company.

  • Recognition and Rewards: A stronger focus on recognizing achievements, celebrating milestones, and showing appreciation for everyone’s contributions.

Life is short, my parents and my brothers/sisters are getting old quickly, I need time to be with them. Money/Work/Business is great, but this is not everything. Our team needs a balance life for a happier ending.

A Better Life for Everyone

One of my personal goals for the coming year is to ensure that we all have more time to enjoy life—myself included.

  • Streamlining Processes: Automating routine tasks and improving workflows so we can spend less time on repetitive work and more time on what truly matters.

  • Building a Supportive Culture: Encouraging open communication, flexibility, and collaboration to create a workplace that people genuinely enjoy being a part of.

Closing Thoughts

As I sit here on the last day before Tet, I’m filled with gratitude for the journey so far and excitement for what’s to come. The road ahead is full of opportunities, and with the right planning and effort, I’m confident we’ll make 2025 a remarkable year for Glinteco.

To my team: thank you for your hard work, creativity, and dedication. Let’s continue to build something extraordinary together. And to our clients and partners: we’re grateful for your trust and look forward to achieving even greater success with you in the new year.

Here’s to a brighter, more balanced, and fulfilling year ahead. Happy Tet!
